The Singapore Primary Math program uses the Concrete > Pictorial > Abstract approach to learning. Each grade requires 2 Textbooks and 2 Workbooks (A & B). Typically Textbook A and Workbook A are used for the first part of the year and Textbook B and Workbook B are used for the second part of the year. The Intensive Practice books are available as a supplement to enhance understanding and interest with thought-provoking problems.

If this is the first time you are using Singapore Primary Mathematics we recommend giving your child an assessment test to determine what level to start with.

You will need the corresponding Singapore Primary Math 1B Workbook along with the Textbook.
