The Singapore Primary Math program uses the Concrete > Pictorial > Abstract approach to learning. Each Grade requires 2 Textbooks and 2 Workbooks (A & B). Textbook and Workbook A are for the first part of the year and Textbook and Workbook B are for the second part of the year. For 2nd through 6th grade there are optional Instructors Guides and Intensive Practice books (a supplement to enhance understanding and interest with thought-provoking problems).

If this is the first time you are using Singapore Primary Mathematics we recommend giving your child an assessment test to determine what level to start with.

The Singapore Primary Math 5A Set Includes:

• 5A Textbook - Contains learning tasks that are to be done with the Instructor along with practice and review.
• 5A Workbook - Contains exercises the student does on their own. (Consumable)
• 5A Instructor's Guide - Bridges the gaps between the textbook and workbook, walking you through them in a logical, step-by-step fashion.

You will also need the Singapore Primary Math 5B Set for the 2nd part of the year.
